100th Day of Kindergarten

After much anticipation, lots of countdowns, and numerous snow days, the 100th Day of School finally arrived! And we were ready to celebrate!  To make it all the more special it landed on Raji's birthday!!  Several children asked if he was 100 years old!!  Not yet!!

With all the 100 items we brought in to share, we had 1,000 things!  It was fun to see what everyone chose.  Pennies were by far the most popular but grapes and marshmallows were the best to eat!  We loved surprising Raji, and doing math activities around 100, and our surprise book delighted us all, Wolf's Chicken Stew!  We were sure it had nothing to do with 100 but it certainly did!  Ask your child to tell you about it!

Returning to school on Day 101 was such a surprise because our 100's chart and our ten frames were all empty, "just like the First Day of School!"  We can't wait to start the next 100!
