Slime!

What better science activity the morning after Halloween than to make ooey gooey slime!  In Kindergarten, we do lots of chemistry experiments!  Making slime is the chemistry of polymers, in which the polymer molecules can stretch and bend like chains.  It can take the shape of a container like a liquid, and yet you can hold it in your hand and pick it up like a solid.  It's made by mixing white glue, water and borax powder.  Add a bit of food coloring and you make slime!  There's a recipe for slime on the experiments page of the science blog (click here for science blog)if you want to try this at home.
